When to use this article
Use this walkthrough when you can no longer sign in with your current password and need to create a new one.
Forgot my password
Forgot your password? Here's how to reset it from the ParensUP app.

Open the ParensUP app
On your phone, open the ParensUP app.

Tap "I already have an account"
On the home screen, tap I already have an account.

Choose "I'm an adult"
On the access screen, tap I'm an adult.

Tap "Forgot my password"
On the login screen, below the password field, tap Forgot my password.

Enter your registered email
Type the same email you used to create your ParensUP account.
Then tap Send recovery code.

Check your email
ParensUP will send a 6-digit code to the email you provided.
Open your email and look for the message sent by ParensUP.
Important: if the email doesn't arrive in a few minutes, also check your spam or junk folder.

Enter the code in the app
Go back to the ParensUP app and enter the 6-digit code you received by email.

Create a new password
- Type your new password.
- Repeat the password in the confirmation field.
- Tap Confirm.
All set! Your password has been updated.
Go back to the login screen and sign in using your email and new password.
