View the child's progress

Track the child's progress from the Home tab — using the Streak card, the progress charts, the family ranking, and the activity history.

Part 1

Streak card

01

What the Streak card is

On the Home tab there is a card called Streak that shows how many days in a row the child has completed tasks.

It helps track the consistency of the child in the routine and can serve as encouragement to keep good habits.

The streak card also appears in the adult profile, showing how many days in a row the adult has completed their own tasks.

02

How to access

The card can be viewed from:

From the adult login
On the child's profile.

Part 2

Progress charts and reports

01

Available periods

When opening the charts, you can track the child's progress over different periods:

  1. Week
  2. Month
  3. Year

These reports help visualize routine patterns and better understand the child's development over time.

02

What you can track

In the reports and charts, you can view information such as:

  1. Evolution of completed tasks
  2. Evolution of rewards and incentives
  3. Behavior evolution
  4. Number of activities by category
  5. Most active weekdays
  6. Behavior balance
  7. Behavior score evolution
  8. Total compliments
  9. Total good deeds
  10. Total incidents
  11. Balance of points earned and lost
  12. Balance of symbolic money earned and lost
  13. Daily goal progress
  14. Activities per month
Important: several of these charts (behavior score, compliments, incidents, balances) rely on ParensUP Premium features. See how to activate Premium if you don't have it yet.
Part 3

Family ranking

01

What the ranking is

The reports can also show a family ranking — a light, visual comparison of some activities within the family.

For example, you can track:

  1. Who did the most tasks
  2. Who kept the longest streak
  3. Who sent the most compliments
  4. Who received the most compliments

The goal of the ranking is to encourage family participation and make the routine more visible to everyone.

Part 4

Activity history

01

What the history is

In addition to the charts, ParensUP also lets you view the history of actions taken in the app:

  1. Who created a task
  2. Who edited a task
  3. Who deleted a task
  4. Who completed a task
  5. Who recorded behaviors
  6. Who created or changed important routine information

The history helps guardians track what happened in the app and who performed each action.

02

Sign in to the app as a guardian

On your phone, open the ParensUP app and sign in with your adult/guardian login.

03

Go to the "Home" tab

On the app's bottom bar, tap Home.

04

Tap "History"

In the Quick actions section, tap History.

05

See the recorded activities

Track the actions taken in the family — like creations, edits, deletions, and completed tasks.

Part 5

What the child can view

From the individual login, the child sees progress information related to their own profile.

01

Child permissions

The child can track their own streak and routine data — they view their own progress and better understand their participation.

They cannot edit the family's administrative data.

💡 Tips

  • Use the Streak card to encourage consistency, not pressure.
  • The family ranking should be used as light, fun encouragement — not as a negative comparison between children.
  • Several charts (behavior score, compliments, incidents, balances) are exclusive to ParensUP Premium.
  • Points and money in ParensUP are symbolic — they work as an educational tool and don't represent real money.
