Set up parental approval
Parental approval lets the guardian approve or reject when the child completes a task or redeems a reward. This feature makes sense when the child has individual login activated, since they start interacting with the app through their own access.
Sign in to your guardian account
On your phone, open the ParensUP app and sign in with your adult/guardian profile.
Go to Settings
On the app's bottom bar, tap Settings.
Open "Manage family"
On the settings screen, tap Manage family.
Choose the child
Tap the child for whom you want to enable parental approval.
Select "Approval"
When you tap the child, the app will show some options.
Tap Approval.
Enable "Require approval"
Turn on the Require approval option.
Then tap Save settings.
All set! Parental approval has been enabled.
Whenever the child completes a task or redeems a reward through their own login, a notification will be sent to the guardian to approve or reject before the action is counted.
💡 Tips
- To use this feature, first activate individual login for the child.
- If you want to disable approval later, repeat the path: Settings › Manage family › Child › Approval. Then turn off Require approval and save settings.
