Activate and sign in for child
The child's login is activated by the guardian. Once active, the child can sign in to the app using an access code and the password set by guardians.
Activate the child's login
Sign in to your guardian account
On your phone, open the ParensUP app and sign in with your adult/guardian profile.
Go to Settings
On the app's bottom bar, tap Settings.
Open "Manage family"
On the settings screen, tap Manage family.
Choose the child
Tap the child you want to activate individual login for.
Select "Login"
When you tap the child, the app will show some options.
Tap Login.
Activate the child's login
Turn on the child's access switch.
This option may appear as an on/off toggle.
Copy and save the access code
Once login is activated, the app will generate an access code for the child.
Copy or write down this code and store it in a safe place.
The child will need this code to sign in to the app.
Set a password
Create a password for the child's access.
- The password must have at least 6 digits.
- Then tap Save settings.
Sign in to the child's profile
Open the app on the child's phone
On the phone or device the child will use, open the ParensUP app.
Tap "I already have an account"
On the home screen, tap I already have an account.
Choose "I'm a child"
On the access screen, tap I'm a child.
Enter the access details
Type:
- The access code generated in the child's profile.
- The password set by the guardian.
Tap "Enter my area"
After filling in the details, tap Enter my area.
All set! The child has access to their own profile.
Now they can follow their own routine in ParensUP with individual access.
💡 Tips
- To change the child's password, repeat the steps in Part 1: Settings › Manage family › Child › Login.
- On the same screen, the guardian can also see the access code again, create a new password or deactivate individual login for the child.
- If login is deactivated, the child will no longer be able to access their own area until the guardian activates it again.
