Invite an adult to the family
On ParensUP Premium, you can invite up to 2 additional guardians to manage the family with you. Other adults can help follow the routine, tasks, incentives and children's progress.
Invite an adult right after creating your account
Use this option if you just created your ParensUP account and the app showed the option to invite another adult.
Choose to invite an adult
On the screen shown after account creation, tap the option to invite an adult to the family.
Share the code or QR Code
The app will generate an invite for your family.
You can invite the other adult in two ways:
Wait for the other adult to join
After receiving the code or scanning the QR Code, the other adult should follow the walkthrough to join an existing family.
Invite an adult from settings
Use this option if your account is already set up and you want to invite another adult later.
Sign in to your guardian account
On your phone, open the ParensUP app and sign in with your adult/guardian profile.
Go to Settings
On the app's bottom bar, tap Settings.
Open "Manage family"
On the settings screen, tap Manage family.
Tap "Adults"
On the family management screen, tap Adults.
Tap "Invite adult"
Tap Invite adult to generate the invite.
Share the code or QR Code
The app will show an invite code and/or a QR Code.
You can:
- Copy and send the code to the other adult.
- Ask them to scan the QR Code.
All set! The invite has been sent.
Now the other adult can use the code or QR Code to join your family on ParensUP.
💡 Tips
- The invited adult needs to download the ParensUP app and choose the I have a code option on the home screen.
- If the code doesn't work, generate or send a new invite.
- Before joining, the app will show the family's details so the adult can confirm they're joining the correct family.
